What is the guest capacity for weddings?
The Surf Hotel comfortably accommodates 90—130 guests, though we can accommodate up to 250 reception attendees at summer weddings with a full hotel buyout. There is no minimum guest headcount.
Do you allow outside catering?
Due to our local health code, we cannot allow outside catering, with the exception of wedding cakes or other desserts.
What is the rental fee and food & beverage minimum?
Our pricing is seasonal, ranging from a $12,000 ballroom rental fee and $20,000 food & beverage minimum in the summer, to a $2,000 ballroom rental fee and $7,000 food & beverage minimum in the off-season.
Meetings & Retreats
What meeting spaces are available at the Surf Hotel?
The primary meeting space at Surf Hotel is the Ivy Ballroom, though smaller teams can also use our restaurant space for co-working or informal breakout sessions during the daytime.
What is the guest capacity of the hotel?
Our ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests for meetings and retreats. Surf Hotel can accommodate 62 overnight guests, assuming that meeting attendees are not sharing rooms.
What types of meetings is the hotel best suited to?
Due to our location and the nature of our spaces, the Surf Hotel is better suited to active leadership or small group retreats than traditional corporate meetings. Please submit an inquiry below to further discuss the details of your event.
