What is the closest airport to Buena Vista?
If you fly private, Central Colorado Regional Airport (CCRA) is the closest airport, just two miles away. Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is two hours away, and Denver International Airport (DEN), 40 minutes further, typically offers more flexible flight options.
Is there free parking on-site?
All public parking in South Main is free of charge, and there are many free spaces either in dirt parking lots or streets adjacent to the hotel. Please note: When we are hosting a concert, parking areas may fill up more quickly.
Hotel Stays
What is your cancellation policy?
Guests can cancel their reservation for a full refund up to two days before their check-in date. If reservations are canceled after that point, they will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the cost of one night's stay, plus tax.
What are check-in & check-out times and can I check-in or out early?
Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. We cannot guarantee an early check-in or late check-out. However, please let us know if you plan to arrive early, and we’ll contact you as soon as your room is ready.
Who do I contact to make changes to my reservation?
If your reservation was made through the Surf Hotel website, please contact us via text (719.309.4055) or email ([email protected]) to modify your reservation. If you booked through a third-party site (such as Booking.com or Expedia) any changes to your reservation must be made through that site.
Are your properties kid-friendly?
We’re happy to welcome families at all our properties and can provide complimentary pack ‘n’ plays on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: some of the Surf Chateau rooms are quite small, and may not accommodate extra space for a crib or inflatable toddler bed.
Are any of your rooms pet-friendly?
Yes, all Surf Chateau Cottage rooms are pet-friendly, but require an additional $50 nightly fee per pet.
Are all guest rooms elevator accessible?
All Surf Hotel rooms are accessed via elevator. The Surf Chateau and Surf House do not have an elevator.
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift certificates are available for both the Surf Hotel and Wesley & Rose. Note: Surf Hotel gift certificates may be used at any of our three hotel properties.

Can the hotel accommodate professional photo shoots?

Food & Drink
Does your restaurant take reservations?
To better accommodate both our hotel guests and local patrons, all tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Does the hotel provide room service?
No. We provide complimentary coffee in the Surf Hotel lobby, as well as a range of other snacks and drinks for purchase. Wesley & Rose—the restaurant on the ground floor of the Surf Hotel—is open nightly for dinner service and also serves Sunday brunch. View Menus

How do I buy concert tickets to shows at the hotel?
You can view our calendar of upcoming shows and purchase tickets on the Live Music page of our website.
Do you offer special room rates to concert attendees?
That is show-dependent. When we can offer special room rates, we will include a promo code in your concert ticket purchase confirmation email.
Are food and drinks available for purchase at concerts?
That depends on the show. All concert details will be shared in the music calendar listings.
Are there restrictions on food, drink or other outside items at Surf Hotel events?

Weddings
What is the guest capacity for weddings?
Surf Hotel comfortably accommodates 90—130 guests, though we can accommodate up to 250 reception attendees at summer weddings with a full hotel buyout. There is no minimum guest headcount.
What is the rental fee and food & beverage minimum?
Our pricing is seasonal, ranging from a $12,000 ballroom site fee and $20,000 F&B minimum in the summer, to a $2,000 ballroom rental fee and $7,000 F&B minimum in the off-season.
Do you allow outside catering?
Due to our local health code, we cannot allow outside catering, with the exception of wedding cakes or other desserts.
Meetings & Retreats
What meeting spaces are available at the Surf Hotel?
The primary meeting space at Surf Hotel is the Ivy Ballroom, though smaller teams can also use our restaurant space for co-working or informal breakout sessions during the daytime.
What is the guest capacity of the hotel?
Our ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests for meetings and retreats. Surf Hotel can accommodate 62 overnight guests, assuming that meeting attendees are not sharing rooms.
What types of meetings is the hotel best suited to?
Due to our location and the nature of our spaces, the Surf Hotel is better suited to active leadership or small group retreats than traditional corporate meetings. Please submit an inquiry below to further discuss the details of your event.
